Esperando a Godot

En su obra dramática «Esperando a Godot», Samuel Beckett utiliza la interacción de sus personajes para simbolizar el tedio y la carencia de significado de la vida moderna. A través de ellos, que esperan algo o alguien que no llegará, se muestra el sentido existencial. Vagan entre sus límites bajo diferentes escenarios donde se encuentran en esta situación: disponen, sin querer, de tiempo.

A partir de esta exploración Atemporal transitorio utiliza un entorno agreste para evocar algunos instantes de la espera que se hace presente en la obra de Beckett. Por medio de la autorrepresentación, y a través del paisaje natural, se articula un pequeño escenario que construye un universo ficticio que invita a descifrar la presencia simbólica de la espera sugerida por las propias imágenes.

Waiting for Godot

In the play «Waiting for Godot», Samuel Beckett uses the interaction of his characters to symbolize the tedium and lack of meaning of modern life. Through them, who expect something or someone who will not arrive, the existential sense is shown. They wander between their limits under different scenarios where they find themselves in this situation: they have, unintentionally, time.

From this transitory exploration, the open landscape is use to evoke some moments of the wait that is present in Beckett’s work. Through the representation of these fragments that preceding the event and the natural environment, a small stage is articulated that builds a fictional universe that invites to decipher the symbolic presence of the wait, suggested by the images.
